In line with her research she was lucky enough to attend the Playtrack conference at Aarhus university as well as Design for Play conference at the Design School in Kolding. During this time she visited over 25 schools, museums and galleries all over Denmark as well as in London, researching how to communicate ideas through participatory means. She also conducted over 30 interviews with play experts to artists and museum directors as well as with various individuals who live, work and play in Billund. In order to get to know the locals better she joined various groups such as hulahoop soccer class. She also gave some talks, workshops, played some games and worked with a school group in designing a treasure hunt in the LEGO house for the adults.
